DFM & Production Drawing Services
SERVICE 03 / Manufacturing documentation
Give your supplier clear information to manufacture from.
I review CAD for manufacturability and translate design intent into coordinated drawings and production files. This service is suitable for clients who already have a design but need practical fabrication review, clearer documentation or a release package.

What I can help with
- DFM/DFA review for machining, sheet-metal fabrication and assembly
- Part drawings with dimensions, tolerances and GD&T where applicable
- Section views, detail views, exploded views and assembly information
- BOM coordination, flat patterns and drawing revision support
What you receive
- Review findings and agreed design changes
- Production drawing PDFs and DWG/DXF files where needed
- Manufacturing geometry in STEP or cutting DXF format
- BOM and a clearly organised revision-based file package
A clear working process
How we work together
- Review the design, critical dimensions and intended manufacturing route.
- Resolve agreed DFM issues and coordinate drawings with the model.
- Release checked documentation with file formats and revision records.
What to send me
Send current CAD/drawings, material and finish requirements, critical fits, quantities, supplier feedback and the processes intended for production.
Scope & validation
Tolerance requirements are defined around function and supplier capability. Final machine setup and first-article acceptance remain part of the agreed manufacturing and inspection process.
