AMADA Programming & Sheet-Metal Manufacturing

A sheet-metal manufacturing programming workflow built around real production decisions: unfold and DFM review, press-brake simulation, nesting, NC creation and downstream fabrication support.

AMADA press-brake simulation — 40-second selected sequence from the original programming workflow.

1. Virtual press-brake validation

Programming begins with bend sequence, tooling and clearance checks. The VPSS4iE workflow makes interference and feasibility issues visible before the job reaches the machine.

Tooling, bend angle and sequence evaluated in the virtual press-brake environment.
AMADA VPSS bend simulation view
Part orientation and intermediate forming states are checked before release.

2. Nesting, NC creation & laser preparation

Sheet utilization and cutting strategy are planned with 4iE. The process connects nesting, NC creation and simulation, so the fabrication team receives practical machine-ready output.

3. SheetWorks development for production

SolidWorks with SheetWorks supports complex formed components, assemblies and fabrication-aware design decisions—from individual folds to complete sheet-metal systems.
