Functional prototyping & batch printing

3D Printing & Functional Prototypes

I develop printable products and functional prototypes from CAD through slicing, physical fit checks and design iteration. I can also provide batch 3D printing for repeat parts and small production runs, using consistent print setups and sample checks before producing the batch.

Scope

  • Print-oriented CAD development and design revision
  • PLA and PETG prototype printing, slicing and G-code preparation
  • Physical checks for fit, mounting interfaces and everyday use
  • Batch 3D printing for multiple identical parts and small production runs

CAD to Printed Product

A connected workflow from a digital model to a physical print. Product geometry, decorative features, slicing preparation and the finished prototype are reviewed together so the model can be refined using real print feedback.

  • CAD model preparation for printable geometry
  • Slicing and print preparation
  • Physical prototype review and repeat-print setup

Acoustic Slat-Panel Accessories

A family of printable accessories developed around the mounting interface of acoustic slat panels. Physical samples are fitted to a panel section to review attachment, clearance and the shape of the usable feature.

  • Hooks and holders sharing a panel mounting interface
  • Printed fit checks against a physical slat-panel sample
  • Revised CAD, STL/3MF and print-ready G-code files

Doorbell Mounts & Installation Accessories

Printed mounting solutions developed for different doorbell bodies and installation surfaces. Examples include angled mounts, siding adapters, suction-cup assemblies and no-drill mounting concepts. Prototypes are assembled with the device to check fit and access before revising the design.

  • Angled mounting geometry and device fit
  • Adapters for siding and other mounting surfaces
  • Suction-cup and no-drill assembly concepts
  • Separate printed components, fasteners and protective features

Owl Hair-Clip Prototype

A decorative owl-shaped hair accessory assessed as a physical print. The prototype views show the sculpted front, curved profile and how the part sits against hair, supporting revisions to the shape and attachment features.

  • Printed decorative detail and surface review
  • Profile and curvature checks
  • Physical positioning check in the intended use
